The origin of acupuncture can be traced back to primitive society. From the use of "Bian stone" recorded in ancient books, Fuxi's "tasting hundreds of herbs and making nine needles", to the formation of meridian, acupoint theory and diagnosis and treatment system, it has gone through thousands of years. Cheng's acupuncture "Sancai acupuncture" is based on the "Sancai method" of the Yuan Dynasty. Sancai acupuncture is the technical basis of Cheng's acupuncture and is very representative. Cheng's acupuncture is based on traditional Chinese medicine theory, forming a unique theoretical system, diagnosis and treatment experience and technique characteristics. The "Chinese Acupuncture" edited by Cheng Xinnong has been translated into English, French, Spanish and other languages. It has important cultural and academic value and has a high influence at home and abroad.
