Invasion diseases：是动则病

  • Distension and fullness of the lung肺胀满

  • cough and panting膨膨而喘咳

  • pain in the middle of the supraclavicular fossa 缺盆中痛

  • even blurred vision with both hands crossing each other against the chest甚则交两手而瞀

  • This is called Bi jue(adverse flow of arm-Qi)臂厥

  • severe pain in the medial anterior aspect of the arm and warm sensation 

  • pain and cold in the shoulder and back

  • frequent and scanty urination

  • shortness of breath

  • changing of urine in color

  • toothache 齿痛

  • neck swelling 颈肿

signs

The disease of body fluid dominated by this Channel include：是主津所生病者

  • yellow eyes 目黄

  • dry mouth口干

  • clear nasal discharge and nose bleed鼽妞

  • throat obstruction喉痹

  • pain of the anterior medial aspect of the arm 肩前臑痛

  • pain and stiffness of the index finger 大指次指不用

The Stomach  Channel of Foot-Yangming
​symptoms

Invasion diseases: 是动则病

  • chills like being sprinkled over with cold water 洒洒阵寒

  • frequent groaning and yawn善呻数欠

  • black complexion 颜黑

  • dislike of seeing people and fire following the onset of the disease病至则恶人与火

  • presence of fear upon hearing sounds made by wood闻木声则惕然而惊

  • palpitation 心欲动

  • preference for staying alone with the door and windows closed 独闭户塞牖而处

  • even longing to climb onto a high place to sing 甚则欲上高而歌

  • running without putting on clothes 弃衣而走

  • borborygmus and abdominal distension 贲响腹胀

signs

Such a disease is called Ganjue(adverse flow of Qi along the shank)是为骭厥

The diseases of blood dominated by this Channel include:是主血所生病者

  • mania狂

  • malaria 疟

  • febrile disease 温淫

  • profuse sweating汗出

  • clear nasal discharge 鼽

  • nosebleed  衄

  • distortion of face 口喎

  • canker on the tip 唇胗

  • neck swelling 颈肿

  • obstruction of the throat 喉痹

  • assites 大腹水肿

  • swelling and pain of knee joint膝膑肿痛

  • pain along the lateral side of the chest, breast, Qijie(ST30), Futu(ST32), lateral side of tibia and the dorsal of foot 循膺、乳、气街、股、伏兔、骭外廉、足趾上皆痛

  • stiffness of finger 中趾不用

The Spleen  Channel of Foot-Taiyin

​Invasion disease: 是动则病：

  • ​stiffness of tongue 舌本强

  • vomiting right after eating 食则呕

  • stomachache 胃脘痛

  • abdominal distension 腹胀

  • frequent eructation 善噫

  • feeling comfortable after defecation and passing flatus 得后与气则快然如衰

  • and heaviness of the whole body 身体皆重

signs

Diseases of spleen dominated by this channel include: 是主脾所生病者

  • pain of the tongue root 舌本痛

  • stiffness of the body that cannot be turned 体不能动摇

  • inability to eat 食不下

  • dysphoria 烦心

  • acute pain below the heart  心下急痛

  • sloppy stool 溏

  • stagnation of Qi in the abdomen瘕 

  • dysentery 泄

  • blockage of water inside 水毕

  • jaundice 黄疸

  • inability to lie down 不能卧

  • standing up with difficulty which makes the medial side of the thigh and knees swollen 强立，股膝内肿厥

  • and stiffness of the big toe that cannot move 足大趾不用

Invasion diseases：是动则病

  • dry throat 嗌干

  • heartache 心痛

  • thirst with preference for drinking water 渴而欲饮

  • even fullness in the chest and hypochondria 甚则胸胁支满

  • severe palpitation心中澹澹大动

  • red recomplexion 面赤

  • yellow eyes 目黄

  • incessant laughter喜笑不休

  • swollen armpit 腋肿

  • spasm of arm and elbow臂肘挛急

  • feverish sensation over the palm 手心热​

This disease is called Bijue 是为臂厥

Diseases of heart dominated by this Channel include:是主心所生病者

  • yellow eyes 目黄

  • hypochondriac pain 胁痛

  • pain or coldness of the medial posterior border of the upper arm and forearm 臑臂内后痛、厥

  • feverish sensation and pain of the palm 掌中热

  • submaxillary swelling颔肿

  • inability of neck to move 不可以顾

  • dragging pain of the shoulder 肩似拔

  • and breaking pain of the medial side of arm 臑似折

Disease of liquid dominated by this Channel include:是主液所生病者

  • deafness 耳聋

  • yellow eyes 目黄

  • and cheek swelling 颊肿

  • pain in the neck, mandible, shoulder, medial side of arm, elbow and later side of arm 颈、颔、肩、臑、肘、臂外后廉痛

​Invasion disease 是动则病

  • headache due to upward rushing of morbid Qi 冲头痛

  • pain of eyes as if the eyeballs were about to come off 目似脱

  • pain of the neck as if being pulled 项如拔

  • pain of spine 脊痛

  • pain of the wast as if being broken腰似折

  • inability of the thigh of flex 髀不可以曲

  • pain of the popliteal fossa as if being knotted  腘如结，

  • and pain of the shank as if being split 踹如裂

This disease is called Huaijue 是为踝厥

Diseases of tendons dominated by this Channel include: 是主筋所生病者

  • hemorrhoids 痔

  • malaria 疟

  • mania and epilepsy 狂、癫疾

  • pain in fontanelle and in of the neck 头囟项痛

  • yellow eyes 目黄

  • frequent tearing 泪出

  • clear nasal discharge and nosebleed 鼽衄

  • pain in the neck, back，waist, buttocks, popliteal fossa, shank and foot 项、背、腰、尻、腘、踹、脚皆痛

  • and stiffness of the little finger that cannot move 小指不用

The Bladder  Channel of Foot-Taiyang

Invasion diseases：是动则病

  • hunger without appetite 饥不欲食

  • black and emaciated complexion like black lacquer 面如漆柴

  • cough or spitting with blood 咳唾则有血

  • panting with hoarse voice 喝喝而喘

  • desire to stand up after sitting down坐而欲起

  • blurred vision unable to see anything目琉琉如无所见

  • dysphoria as if the heart were suspended and accompanied with a sense of hunger 心如悬若饥状

  • Deficiency of Qi in this Channel will cause frequent fear 气不足则善恐

  • and a feeling as if being tracked down心惕惕如人将捕之

This is called Bi jue 骨厥

Disease of the kidney dominated by this Channel include:是主肾所生病者

  • febrile sensation in the mouth口热

  • fry tongue  舌干

  •  

  • swollen throat 咽肿

  • adverse flow of Qi upward 上气

  • dry throat  and sore throat 嗌干及痛

  • dysphoria 烦心

  • heartache 心痛

  • jaundice 黄疸

  • dysentery 肠澼

  • pain in the posterior medial side of the spine and the thigh 脊股内后廉痛

  • lassitude of the limbs, 痿厥somnolence, 嗜卧

  • feverish and painful sensation over the sole足下热而痛

  • deafness tinnitus 耳聋混混焞焞 

  • swollen larynx and throat obstruction嗌肿，喉痹

  • pain of outer canthus 目锐眦痛

  • cheek pain 颊痛

  • pain in the region behind the ear, shoulder, medial side of the upper arm, elbow  and lateral side of the arm 耳后、肩、臑、肘、臂外皆痛

  • and stiffness of the ring finger that cannot move 小指次指不用

The GallBladder  Channel of Foot-Shaoyang

Such a disease  is called Yangjue阳厥

Diseases of bones dominated by this Channel include 是主骨所生病者

  • headache 头疼

  • mandible pain 颔痛

  • pain of out canthus 目锐眦痛

  • swelling and pain of the supraclavicular fossa 缺盆中肿痛

  • swollen armpit 腋下肿

  • scrofula 马刀侠瘿

  • chills following perspiration汗出阵寒

  • malaria 疟

  • pain in the lateral side of chest，hypochondria，rib-side, hip and knee, the anterior side of tibia, fibula, external malleolus and all the joints 胸、胁、髀、膝外至胫、绝骨、外踝前及诸节皆痛

  • inability of the fourth toe to move 小指次指不用

Invasion diseases：是动则病

  • bitter taste in the mouth 口苦

  • frequent sighing 善太息

  • difficulty to turn the body due to hypochondriac pain  心胁痛，不能转侧

  • even slightly dirty complexion 甚则面微有尘

  • lusterless skin and feverish 体无膏泽

  • sensation over the lateral side of foot足外反热

  • Diseases of the liver dominated by this Channel include: 是主肝所生病者

  • chest fullness 胸满

  • vomiting 呕吐

  • hiccup 呕逆

  • diarrhoea with undigested food in it 飧泄

  • inguinal hernia 狐疝

  • enuresis 遗溺

  • and dysuria 闭癃

Invasion diseases：是动则病

  • lumbago that makes it difficult to look up and look down 腰痛不可以俛仰

  • scrotal hernia in men 丈夫㿉疝

  • abdominal swelling in wemen 妇人少腹肿

  • even dry throat 甚则嗌干

  • dirty and lustreless complexion 

  • 面尘脱色
